Friday…ahhh…Friday!

Ryan & Chris will be home this wknd…arriving late late tonight. Looking forward to seeing them, Ryan was home for Christmas but Chris was with her family back East so we didn’t get a chance to see her. We don’t have any plans for the wknd, whatever the kids want to do ~ that’s what we’ll do!!
I’ve been doing a little bit of sewing. Have a wallhanging to the ‘add binding’ stage, binding has been prepared, just need to get it done! Working on a couple of projects for grands: JJ’s “Yours and Mine” blanket, this has been an easier said than done project as I wanted to preserve it as much as possible…that isn’t going to happen…going to have to take it back further than I wanted to. Also, a laptop bag for KatieBug…just need to add the handles and add a decorative button.
After visiting a dear elderly friend over Christmas I have been burdened to make a few walker totes for those who require a walker to get around. I have been making pillowslips for various charities but think I will put that aside for a while and spend a couple of hours each Sunday making walker totes.
There are so many good charity ideas out there~~so much need. If we all help in some way the need will be less. We can all do a little bit now and then.
Our fence is finished. Thank you Ryan!! We have been walking around the backyard deciding on some minor landscape changes and have done a couple of mock up drawings on what we might want to do. Won’t be long before we start hauling in river rock to extend the pond area…
Speaking of pond…oh man!! We’ve had a bit of warmer weather since Christmas and the Koi are getting active! They have really grown over the last several months and I have renamed many of them….now I call them “Dinner” “Snack” “Just a Nibble” and etc. This totally grosses Ed out and totally makes me laugh! LOL
It’s Friday! I ??? Friday!!

Now I understand who is going to be coming to help eat that blueberry buckle, LOL.
Hope you all have a great weekend together.
